Patty (Friend) ThompsonAndrew Pendleton Friend, the eighth son of Jacob Friend and Elizabeth Skidmore, was born about 1780. Andrew married Elizabeth Harris and together they raised a family of eight known children.
Those children, Mary “Polly Friend, Israel S. Friend, Sarah Friend, Catherine Friend, Andrew Friend, Jr., Mary Julian Friend, Daniel Boone Friend and Levisa B. Friend are covered in detail in these two books.
