Andrew Coleman Friend was the Third child of Joseph Friend and Sarah Green. Andrew was the grandson of “Old” John Friend, founder of Friendsville and patriarch of the Garrett County Friend Family. Andrew Coleman Friend married Sarah Nancy Harden and with their seven children lived their lives in the Friendsville area. We have divided the information on Andrew Coleman Friend and his family into three separate books. This book details the life of Andrew Coleman Friend and his children. Two sons, Jonathan “Sugar Joe” Friend and Joab Jonah Friend are briefly outlined in this book and are featured in great detail in two separate books.
