David Sheridan "Bud" Custer (12/3/1861 - 10/10/1948) was the eldest son of Emanuel Custer and Rebecca Friend.

Bud would marry Judge David Harrison "Harry" Friend's daughter, Minnie May Friend.

Minnie May (Friend) Custer (1866 - 1948), youngest daughter of David Harrison "Harry" and Mary A. (Riley) Friend.

Shown here in 1947 with her husband, Friendsville Maryland businessman David (Bud) Sheridan Custer at their home on Water Street in Friendsville. They were married August 25, 1890 at her parents house in Sang Run, Maryland.

Minnie May (Friend) Custer, daughter of Judge David Harrison Friend is in the back left of the picture. Her husband, David Sheridan Custer is on the top step on the right.

The other two adults in this picture are Bud and Minnie's son, David Harrison "Harry" Custer (holding hat) and their daughter Helen Custer.

The grandchildren in this picture are Harry's children. They are Doris Nelda Custer (top step), Robert Harrison Custer (hands over eyes) and Glenn Sheridan Custer (sitting in front of his grandfather)

David Harrison "Harry" Custer (on right) was the eldest son of David Sheridan Custer and Minnie May Friend. His namesake was his maternal grandfather, David Harrison Friend of Friend's Delight in Sang Run.

His younger brother, on left, is Aubrey Reed Custer.

Harry was born 12/20/1891 in Friendsville and died 7/6/1977 in Akron, Ohio.

Harry Custer married Minta Marie Reese of Grafton, West Virginia on 11/06/1919 in Akron, Ohio.

Aubrey was born 4/12/1896 in Friendsville, Maryland and died 9/16/1985 in Florida.

Aubrey married Susan M. Rumbaugh on 8/18/1923 in Cumberland, Maryland.

Marie was born 7/23/1897 and died 6/13/1927 in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Marie married Doctor Jorier "Joe" Yost of Fairmont, West Virginia on 10/18/1923.
