John Friend Sr. influenced generations of descendents by leading a normal life. John Friend Sr. moved his young family and wife, Karrenhappuck Hyatt, into the wilds of Western Maryland over 250 years ago.  John Friend Sr. of Friendsville, MD, 1st Ed was published in 2007. The information in this 2nd edition has been reorganized, chronologically listed and expanded. John Friend Sr., his father Nicholas Friend, grandfather John Friend I and great grandfather Nils Larsson Friend are cover in great detail in this book. The information on John Friend Sr.’s children will be briefly covered in a single page in this book. John’s children and grandchildren are covered in great detail in over 16 additional books. This reference book is comprised of over 276 pages, fully indexed and presented in an outline format. The authors can be contacted through the Friend Family Association of America (FFAA) at Friendsville, MD or by e-mail through the FFAA web-site (www.friendfamilyassociation.com ).  The initial cost of printing the book has been donated to the FFAA.  Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the FFAA (a non-profit organization).  All book sales are tax deductible. Each book in the initial offering will be signed by the author.   

Black and white spiral bound copies can be purchased for $35 (plus $10 S&H) or a CD at $20 (plus $5 S&H).  The CD contains a color copy of the book in a PDF format (requiring Acrobat 7.0).  Earlier versions of Acrobat can open the text, but not all the images.  Credit card purchases can be made by using Pay Pal at the FFAA web-site.
